Hatsune Miku is launching a major merchandise push centered around a new collaboration with Tirol Choco, bringing exclusive snacks and collectible items to FamilyMart stores and arcades across Japan. This partnership effectively turns a simple candy release into a widespread retail event that fans will want to track closely.
The initial product, Tirol Choco <Miku Miku Milk Mint>, is set to hit shelves on January 26, 2026. Priced at 43 yen each, this chocolate blends mint and condensed milk. The packaging features 10 different chibi Miku designs, all illustrated by Yumenouchi.
Beyond the candy itself, the collaboration expands rapidly into arcades and specialty retail. Furyu is deploying new Tirol Miku prizes starting in early February.

Collectors can look for the Trio-Try-iT Figure, which highlights Miku’s beret and textured clothing, alongside Mochipico plushies holding the chocolate. Tote bags, can badges, and chocolate mascots are also part of this initial wave of arcade goods.
Nippon Department Store is hosting pop-up events in Akihabara, Omiya, and Yokohama, offering unique tie-in items. These specialty items include Chocolate Mint Marshmallows paired with mini card cases, Miku Miku Milk Snowballs with random badges, Chocolate Mint Popcorn, and Fruit Jelly Miku Miku Cream Soda. Most items are priced under the 1,300 yen mark.
Fans looking for extra giveaways have until February 8 to participate in social media campaigns. Reposting from the official Tirol Choco and Furyu Prize X accounts gives participants a chance to win 30-piece chocolate boxes and other prizes. To kick off the event, an Instagram Live session featuring representatives from Tirol, Crypton Future Media, and Furyu is scheduled for launch night to detail the entire promotion.
