
Virtual singer Hatsune Miku is launching a major confectionery collaboration with Japanese snack brand Tirol Choco. The limited-edition sweets are set to debut exclusively at FamilyMart locations across Japan starting Monday, January 26.

The packaging is a key draw, featuring ten distinct designs showcasing exclusive, cute 'chibi' style illustrations. Artist Yumenouchi created the artwork specifically for this milk-themed release, reinterpreting Miku for the candy wrappers.
This initial release kicks off the broader Tirol Miku Project. Amusement prize maker Furyu confirmed it will handle related goods starting in early February.

These prizes include a Trio-Try-iT Figure modeled after the melty chocolate art, along with plush toys and tote bags. Meanwhile, Nippon Department Store will host pop-up shops in Akihabara, Omiya, and Yokohama. These retail locations will sell exclusive sweets such as Choco Mint Marshmallows and Miku-Miku Milk Snowballs, in addition to acrylic stands.
Fans can also purchase photo prints of Yumenouchi’s artwork via E-Print Service multi-copy machines. To promote the launch, Tirol and Furyu Prize are running a social media contest until February 8. Following and reposting enters fans to win a 30-piece chocolate set and other exclusive merchandise. A joint Instagram Live broadcast featuring the three main companies is scheduled for January 26. This collaboration continues Miku’s long history of partnerships with FamilyMart, which dates back to 2012.
