The source material originated as a web novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou platform in April 2021. It was subsequently published in print by KADOKAWA under the Dengeki no Shinbungei imprint. The series currently spans eleven volumes, with the latest installment slated for release in Japan on November 17, 2025.
