Second Trailer, Key Visual Drop for 'In the Clear Moonlit Dusk' Ahead of January Premiere

The In the Clear Moonlit Dusk anime is locking in its January 11 premiere, dropping a second trailer and a new key visual on December 23. This latest preview confirmed the artists handling the theme songs and added two prominent voice actors to the lineup.
The new trailer featured the ending theme, "Azalea no Kaze," performed by Unison Square Garden. The band is also confirmed to be performing the opening track, "Uruwashi."
The production confirmed Kensho Ono will voice Takuto Onji, and veteran Kenjiro Tsuda is set to play Yoi's father. They join the previously announced main cast of Rei Ichinomiya as the lead, Yoi Takiguchi, and Ryota Suzuki as Kohaku Ichimura. Supporting roles include Aya Yamane, Momoko Seto, Shota Hayama, and Kentaro Kumagai.
The series adapts Mika Yamamori's manga, which has been serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Dessert since 2020. The story follows Yoi, a high school freshman nicknamed the "Prince" due to her height, deep voice, and generally handsome appearance. Her perspective changes after meeting Kohaku Ichimura, who looks past the facade to see her true self.

Yusuke Maruyama, who previously served as an assistant director on Lycoris Recoil, is directing the series at East Fish Studio. Ayumu Hisao (I'm in Love with the Villainess) is handling series composition. Character designs are managed by Yuki Fukuda (Insomniacs After School), and Tsubasa Ito is scoring the music. Crunchyroll has confirmed international streaming for the series when it launches next month.
