LDH Animation Debuts New Clips for Battle of Tokyo Ahead of Theatrical Run

LDH Japan has begun rolling out new animated sequences for its ongoing mixed-reality Battle of Tokyo project. The clips, produced under the company's new LDH Animation label, arrive just ahead of the theatrical run of Live in Theater: Battle of Tokyo -Utsukushiki Uso-, which is set to kick off on January 23.
This release marks the first public showing of original animated material from the recently established LDH Animation. The studio was formed earlier this year when LDH Digital merged into LDH Japan to centralize their animation and CG efforts.
The short animations are being cut together with re-edited concert footage and remastered 5.1 audio. This material covers the project’s final chapter, which is derived from the Kadokawa Bunko novels. The sequences feature recognizable voice talent, including Yūki Kaji, Yūma Uchida, and Tomokazu Sugita.

The clips went live on the official Battle of Tokyo YouTube channel. The upcoming Live in Theater screenings across Japan will blend music videos, live performances, and these new animated shorts to advance the story.
The narrative focuses on five teams operating across Shin Tokyo and Chō Tokyo, continuing LDH’s strategy to expand the franchise across music, novels, live shows, and in-house animation.
