Arc System Works is finally expanding the reach of its introspective title, Dear me, I was..., moving it beyond its initial exclusive debut. The game is set to launch across Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android on February 12, priced at $7.99. This marks the first opportunity for the majority of the audience to jump into what Arc System Works is positioning as an intimate piece of interactive storytelling.
This is a textless adventure that guides the player through nine distinct chapters charting the life of an unnamed woman, starting from childhood park visits right up to her adult years. The experience is intentionally brief, clocking in around 40 to 60 minutes, and is targeted toward adult players.
The narrative relies entirely on striking visuals, which merge a distinct watercolor aesthetic with rotoscoping technology, the method of tracing over live-action footage for animation. Key to the look is Art Director Taisuke Kanasaki, whose previous work includes Cing titles like Another Code and Hotel Dusk.

Developed primarily by a female team, the game ships with support for eight languages, including English, Japanese, French, and Chinese variants. The soundtrack also features the theme song "Strange Journey," performed by ITSUKA.
Pre-orders are already open on Steam, and players can sign up for pre-registration on the Google Play store for the Android version.
