Studio Pierrot's 'Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly' Sets Main Cast, Staff, and Spring 2026 Premiere

Studio Pierrot is preparing to launch its original magical girl anime, Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly (Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly), with an anticipated premiere in April 2026. This series is expected to contribute to the magical girl genre by combining fantastical elements with themes of family and personal development.
Main Cast Revealed
The main cast for Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly has been selected. Nao Ojika will voice Rui Nonoyama, a middle school student who is composed but occasionally flighty. Rui's past passion for singing diminished after a period of hospitalization. Ojika also portrays Rui’s idol alter ego, Lulu Mashū. May Tachibana is cast as Fū Nonoyama, Rui’s younger sister, an elementary schooler known for her cheerfulness and naivety. Fū also transforms into her idol persona, Lily Konpeto. The cast further includes Fū Hirohara as Sena Aozono, Fuuka Izumi as Touko Kandachi, and Ai Kayano as Azuki. Hiroki Nanami voices Uguisu, a magical creature from the realm of Felix Star.

Production Team and Backing
The production of the series is being managed by an experienced team. Shintarou Douge is directing the series. The narrative and dialogue are developed by Yuuko Kakihara, who is responsible for both series composition and scriptwriting. Character designs are provided by Hirono Nishiki. Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly is supported by Bandai Namco Filmworks, aiming to deliver a blend of fantasy, sisterhood, and self-discovery. A pilot film and a teaser visual are currently available, offering an early look into the world of the Nonoyama sisters. As spring 2026 approaches, both fans of the magical girl genre and those familiar with Studio Pierrot’s animation quality await this new series.
