
Yen Press confirmed a substantial licensing slate, revealing seven new titles set for release in July 2026. The acquisition haul includes six manga and one light novel, alongside an audiobook edition for one of their most popular horror series.
The publisher announced that Mokumokuren’s hit horror series, The Summer Hikaru Died, will receive an audiobook adaptation, which is also scheduled for the Summer 2026 window.

The new manga lineup covers a wide range of genres. Dystopian fans can look forward to List Rouge, a story centered on secrets. Horror content expands with the anthology Seeds of Anxiety: Asterisk.
Sakuhiro’s The Crow's Ballad at Dawn follows office worker Akito after he becomes entangled with Suiren, a tengu prostitute, within a yokai district. Yen Press is also bringing the yaoi title Beneath the Fur, while romance is covered by The Bubble Love of the Mermaid.
For bizarre comedy, Daisuke Motomi’s Magic Doctor Rex’s Perverted Medical Record was confirmed. This series follows a doctor treating extreme perverts in a setting established after the defeat of the Demon King.
The single light novel acquisition is Love Unseen Beneath the Radiant Night Sky, penned by Nanigashi Shima and featuring illustrations by raemz.
Separately, Yen Press’s Ize Press imprint secured the boys' love manhwa Seven Sundays by Charyeok. This title is also targeting a Summer 2026 arrival, rounding out the publisher's push into diverse formats and content for the next summer season.
