The ongoing TV anime adaptation of Wash It All Away released a new winter visual today, showcasing the resort town of Atami bathed in soft cherry blossom tones. The illustration was shared via the official X account as the series continues its broadcast throughout the Winter 2026 season.
The series premiered on January 5, following the release of its first trailer and main key visual back in December. Yuu. performs the opening theme, "Kirei," while Natsumi Kiyoura handles the ending track, "Wakaba no Koro." Creditless versions of both sequences were made available immediately after the broadcast launch.
The anime adapts Mitsuru Hattori's manga, which ran in Young Gangan from 2017 until its tenth volume concluded the story in 2023. The narrative centers on Wakana Kinme and her specialized cleaning service operating in Atami. Early episodes detail her daily tasks, ranging from scrubbing shoes to engaging with clients against the backdrop of local hot springs and beaches.
Kenta Onishi is directing the adaptation, with Toko Machida handling series composition duties. Azuma Tozawa is credited with character designs, and animation production is led by Okuruto Noboru.

The main voice cast includes Sayumi Suzushiro as Wakana, Yuichiro Umeda as Kyusho Ishimochi, Konomi Inagaki as Nairo Kataguchi, Yoshino Aoyama as Kuriru Wakasagi, Kento Shiraishi as Moruda Wakasagi, Ami Koshimizu as Asami Yagara, and Wasabi Mizuta as Aji.
Initial reception has highlighted the high quality of the animation and the deliberately slow pacing, which emphasizes Kinme's detailed work and the idyllic setting. Critics have noted a subtle melancholy beneath the protagonist's cheerful manner, though the narrative prioritizes visuals in these opening segments.
