The latest installment of Wash It All Away, Episode 7, dropped today, forcing protagonist Wakana Kinme to move her traditional cleaning business into the digital realm. This shift was prompted by a contact at a materials company and marks a significant development for Kinme, challenging her usual quiet routine in Atami.
Kinme’s friends, Nairo Katakuchi and Kuriru Wakasagi, immediately stepped in to manage the new online venture. Nairo took the lead on building their follower count, but the initial digital push struggled to gain traction. Just as the effort seemed to stall, a major opportunity arrived: an influencer requested their cleaning services. This job is set to disrupt the quiet life at the seaside shop.
The episode successfully balances the series' signature comforting tone with the modern realities of small business digital marketing. The contrast between Kinme’s established word-of-mouth style and the demands of online promotion provides the narrative texture, showing how even a traditional owner must adapt to new technology.
The anime is directed by Kenta Ōnishi and produced by Okuruto Noboru. The adaptation successfully maintains the cozy atmosphere established in Mitsuru Hattori’s original manga, which runs in Young Gangan.

Wash It All Away continues its Tuesday release schedule. New episodes stream globally shortly after their premiere in Japan Standard Time.
