Kadokawa officially confirmed the TV anime adaptation of Syuu's Victoria of Many Faces light novels will premiere in July 2026. The announcement arrived this Monday alongside the first teaser visual, which also locked in the series for a broadcast run on TV Tokyo and its affiliate stations.
The newly revealed visual provides the first look at the protagonist, Victoria, positioned dynamically to suggest her hidden past as an operative. The story centers on Victoria Sellers, an elite ex-spy forced to assume a quiet, fake life within the Kingdom of Ashberry following a major betrayal by her superior. Her attempts at normalcy are quickly complicated after she takes in an abandoned girl named Nonna.
The main cast has been confirmed. Chika Anzai will voice Victoria, while Shion Wakayama is set to play Nonna. Yohei Azakami joins the cast as Jeffrey.

Studio Deen is handling the animation production. Nobukage Kimura is directing the series, having previously worked on Tatsuki Fujimoto's 17-21. Naohiro Fukushima is managing the series scripts; Fukushima's credits include I've Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years. Mina Osawa, known for her work on the Given anime, is designing the characters. Frontier Works is credited with managing the original planning phase for the adaptation.
The source material began publication in 2022 under KADOKAWA's MF Books imprint. Nanna Fujimi illustrated the first two volumes before Komo Ushino took over from volume 3 onward, though Fujimi remains credited for the original character designs. Yen Press has licensed the novels for English release, with the first volume scheduled for September 2024. A manga adaptation by Komo Ushino has been running on ComicWalker since December 2022. The plot follows Victoria's alias, Chloe, as her mastery of disguises and martial arts proves useful in dealing with daily chaos while old enemies close in.
