TOUGEN ANKI Anime Officially Confirmed for Sequel Covering 'Nikko Kegon Falls Arc'

The TOUGEN ANKI anime is officially continuing. The sequel arc was confirmed immediately following the broadcast of Episode 24, revealing that the next phase of the story will adapt the manga’s “Nikko Kegon Falls Arc.”
While the announcement included new key art and a teaser trailer, a release date is not set at the time of reporting. The visuals released suggest a significant escalation in the core Oni versus Momotaro conflict, which the new storyline is set to address immediately.
The trailer did confirm broad international streaming availability, indicating that a wide simulcast plan is already in place for the upcoming arc.

The original series by Yura Urushibara runs in Weekly Shonen Champion and boasts over three million copies in circulation. This sequel pickup follows the successful run of the first TV adaptation, which launched as part of the TOUGEN ANKI Project in 2023.
Beyond naming the arc, specific production details remain under wraps for now. Fans should monitor official channels for updates on returning staff, cast confirmations, and the premiere window; none of that information was shared alongside the initial trailer drop.
