Studio Pierrot has officially unveiled the full voice cast and production team for the upcoming magical girl series, Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly (Magical Sisters Lulutto Lily), confirming the anime is set to air in April 2026. This announcement marks a significant return to the genre for the studio, which has not produced a magical girl title since Fancy Lala, the Magic Stage two decades ago. The core story centers on the sibling dynamic of the Nonoyama sisters as they navigate life as magical idols.
The main cast features May Tachibana as the younger sister, Fū Nonoyama, who is characterized as cheerful and performs as the idol Lily Konpeto. Nao Ojika voices the older sister, Rui Nonoyama. Rui is more reserved due to past health issues and transforms into the idol Lulu Mashū.

The magical elements are introduced by two talking cats originating from the Felix Star realm. Hiroki Nanami is confirmed as the perpetually complaining feline, Uguisu, while Ai Kayano steps in as Azuki, a calm cat who prefers subtle manipulation to solve issues.
On the business side of the idol world, Fūka Izumi portrays Tōko Kandachi, an idol who established her own management company, Production Once More, after recognizing Lily's potential. Sena Aozono, a classmate, joins the agency to form an idol unit and is voiced by Fū Hirohara.
Shintarō Dōge is directing the project. Hirono Nishiki is handling character designs, and Yūko Kakihara is managing the series composition and scripts. Studio Pierrot previously released a pilot film to give fans an early look at the sisters' world ahead of the 2026 broadcast.
