The undead armor is officially back on the schedule. Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 confirmed its July 2026 premiere during the Overlap Bunko All-Star Gathering Special 2026 Part 1 livestream. This announcement locks in the return of Arc and Ariane for the summer 2026 season and came alongside the release of a new teaser trailer and key visual.
The sequel brings a significant change behind the scenes. Animation production is shifting from Studio KAI and HORNETS, which handled the first season, to Aura Studio. However, continuity remains strong among the creative leads.
Director Katsumi Ono is confirmed to return to helm the project. Key creative staff members are also back, including character designer Tōru Imanishi, monster designer Yoshihiro Nagamori, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama.
The new footage released showcased Arc, Ariane, and their party engaging in fresh, high-intensity battles, continuing the series' established mix of relaxed adventuring and heavy fantasy action.

The main voice cast remains unchanged, with Tomoaki Maeno and Ai Fairouz reprising their roles as Arc and Ariane, respectively. Musical continuity is also set, with Norwegian singer PelleK returning to perform the Season 2 opening theme, having previously handled the OP for the first season.
The anime continues to adapt the light novel series written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by KeG, published in Japan by Overlap. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season. International streaming plans for the second season are pending at the time of reporting.
