Yomiuri Land has officially detailed a major exclusive item for the upcoming PokéPark Kanto, confirming a collectible Snorlax Popcorn Bucket will be available when the park opens. This chunky 3D bucket is set to be a significant piece of merchandise for visitors to Japan’s first permanent outdoor Pokémon theme park.
The park confirmed the popcorn itself will come in two distinct, park-exclusive flavors: savory Barbecue and sweet Milk Caramel. Given the history of theme park debuts, fans should expect these limited-edition buckets to sell out quickly upon launch.
PokéPark Kanto is scheduled to open its gates on February 5, 2026. The park is situated within the Yomiuriland complex in Tokyo’s Tama Hills.
Snorlax, the iconic sleepy Pokémon known for its large appetite from the original Game Boy titles, is a fitting choice for a food exclusive item. The park layout is divided into two main zones: Pokémon Forest, which promises habitats for over 600 species, and the more active Sedge Town.

Tickets for entry are slated to go on sale later in 2025. Options will include both standard and premium access tiers, suggesting high demand for peak dates at the time of reporting.
