The anime adaptation of Mikihisa Konishi’s manga, Petals of Reincarnation, is officially set to premiere in April 2026. This major update arrived alongside a new key visual and the second promotional trailer, giving fans a deeper look at the action surrounding protagonist Toya Senji and his mysterious left arm ability.
The new visual prominently features the "Forest of the Greats," the organization of resurrected individuals known as "Returners" who strive for world peace using talents inherited from their past lives. Production also confirmed the main theme songs: Eill will perform the opening track, "Glitch*," while Sizuk handles the ending theme, "ZERO."

Marina Inoue has joined the cast to voice Jubei Mitsuyoshi Yagyu. The announcement noted that the director specifically requested Inoue approach the role with an "unwavering core." Several other actors were added to the roster to play members of the Forest, though their specific character assignments were not detailed at the time of reporting.
Shun Kudō is directing the series at Benten Film. Atsuo Ishino is managing the series composition, and Kohta Yamamoto is handling the music. Haruna Katō is credited with character design, working under the supervision of Sayaka Ono, who previously worked on BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-.
The source material, which began serialization in 2014, has surpassed 3 million copies in circulation and remains ongoing, with its 22nd volume released last August. HIDIVE will stream the series in the West and is involved in the co-production alongside Sentai Filmworks. Domestically, the series will broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS Nippon.
