OSHI NO KO Season 3 Drops Mainstay Arc Visual, Confirms January 2026 Premiere Date

The third season of the OSHI NO KO anime has dropped its second promotional video and a new key visual, officially confirming the broadcast schedule for the upcoming Mainstay Arc.
Staff announced the series is set to begin airing on January 14, 2026, at 11:00 p.m. JST. The broadcast will run across Tokyo MX and 36 other Japanese stations. Crunchyroll is handling the international simulcast, while ABEMA will carry the simultaneous stream within Japan.
The new PV specifically highlighted Ruby during a TV program segment and gave fans a preview of the opening theme, "TEST ME," performed by CHANMINA. The promotional material also included a snippet of the ending theme, "Serenade," by singer-songwriter natori.
The unveiled Mainstay Arc visual features Aqua and Ruby positioned back-to-back, flanked by Kana Arima, Akane Kurokawa, and MEMcho.
Casting announcements confirmed Yuto Takenaka will voice Shun Yoshizumi and Yōji Ueda will play Tetsu Urushibara.

Doga Kobo is returning for the animation production. Daisuke Hiramaki directs the series, with Jin Tanaka handling series composition and Kanna Hirayama designing the characters. Ayaka Muroga is taking on chief animation director duties, joining most of the core production team who remain in place.
The original manga by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari concluded across 16 collected volumes, running in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2020 until 2024. The narrative centers on the reincarnation of Dr. Gorou into the world of idol Ai Hoshino. Yen Press manages the English release.
