The highly anticipated second half of One-Punch Man Season 3 has been officially scheduled. Bandai Namco Filmworks confirmed that Part 2 will arrive in 2027, making the announcement immediately following the conclusion of the first cour on December 28. The news was backed by a brief teaser trailer and a new visual that immediately pointed toward the massive Saitama versus Garou confrontation set to close out the Monster Association arc.

Part 1 of Season 3 ran for 12 episodes, beginning its broadcast on October 12. J.C. Staff handled the animation duties for this installment. While fans noted some inconsistent animation quality during the first half, the significant two-year gap leading up to 2027 suggests the studio is taking necessary time to polish key sequences. This includes the highly anticipated Cosmic Fear Garou transformation and the subsequent fight, which manga readers often cite as the peak action sequence of the series.
The 30-second teaser relied heavily on a dark atmosphere and snippets of dialogue, setting the stage for Garou's ultimate power-up without revealing much footage. The decision to split the season into two distinct parts appears to be a strategy aimed at maintaining story momentum while giving the production team adequate time to handle the heavy material.
This new installment continues the adaptation of the manga created by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata, which Viz Media publishes domestically. J.C. Staff took over the production reins after Madhouse delivered the first two acclaimed seasons. For Part 1 streaming, Hulu and Disney+ carried the series in the U.S. and Canada, while Crunchyroll managed distribution across Europe and Southeast Asia.
