One-Punch Man Season 3 Confirms Return for 2027 with Part 2 Announcement

The first cour of One-Punch Man Season 3 has officially concluded, but fans will not face an indefinite wait for the next batch of episodes. Bandai Namco Filmworks confirmed late Monday that Part 2 of the season is slated for release sometime in 2027.
The announcement followed the broadcast of episode 12 on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, delivered via a short video clip immediately after the finale aired. The confirmation was accompanied by the release of new key art and a teaser trailer, which heavily focused on the anticipated Monster Association arc.
The current season began airing on October 12. Animation duties are being handled by J.C. Staff, taking over from Madhouse, the studio responsible for the highly regarded first season. Shinpei Nagai is directing this run, with series scripts managed by Tomohiro Suzuki.
Character design work is shared by Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryōsuke Shirakawa. For context, Season 2 aired back in the spring of 2019 and ran for 12 episodes.

International streaming distribution remains varied: Hulu carries the series in the U.S., Disney+ handles distribution in Canada, and a mix of Netflix, Crunchyroll, and other platforms cover Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
On the manga side, creator ONE originally launched the webcomic in 2009. The series is currently being redrawn by Yusuke Murata for serialization in Weekly Young Jump. Viz Media handles the English simulpublication via Shonen Jump. Volume 32 of the manga is scheduled for release in Japan on December 16.
