Bandai Namco Filmworks has officially confirmed that the second cour of One-Punch Man Season 3 is set to arrive in 2027. This major announcement was revealed immediately following the broadcast of the current season's finale, delivered via a new video posted on the official YouTube channel.

Season 3 began airing on October 12, preceded by a recap special on October 5. Japanese viewers caught the new episodes late at night on TV Tokyo and its affiliates at 11:45 p.m. JST. Streaming availability was handled by Hulu in the U.S., Disney+ in Canada, and Netflix covering Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand, where Crunchyroll also streamed the show. Episodes generally became available around 11:15 a.m. EDT.

J.C. Staff is returning to handle animation duties for this run, having previously animated Season 2 after Madhouse handled the highly regarded first season. Shinpei Nagai is directing, with Tomohiro Suzuki managing the series scripts. Character designs are credited to Chikashi Kubota, alongside Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryōsuke Shirakawa.

Alongside the Cour 2 confirmation, the production committee shared a fresh teaser visual and trailer. They also detailed the first official One-Punch Man exhibition, which is slated to run from June 26 through July 20, 2026. The event will be held at the Ikebukuro Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou-Park. Attendees can expect to see original merchandise, animation drawings, and dedicated photo opportunities, all previewed with an ultra teaser visual.

The anime adapts the webcomic by ONE, which is further adapted into a manga illustrated by Yusuke Murata and published by Shueisha. The story follows the overpowered hero Saitama and his disciple Genos as they navigate constant monster threats and the internal politics of the Hero Association. Season 2 initially premiered back in April 2019.
