The next entry in the long-running Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise, titled Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance, is officially set for a July 2026 broadcast. This new anime project is timed to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary, with animation production handled by Seven Arcs.
The July premiere window was confirmed today via a new promotional video released on the official Nanoha YouTube channel. The teaser footage points toward a grim, post-apocalyptic setting. The story takes place on an Earth devastated thirty years prior by aggressive alien entities, where survivors are now scouting the ruins for individuals possessing special abilities.
The series directly adapts the ongoing manga, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS.
Masaki Tsuzuki is returning to handle the original concept and scripting duties for the adaptation. Takayuki Hamana is directing the series. Issei Aragaki is managing character designs and serving as chief animation supervisor, basing his work on the original character concepts drawn by Shuichi Kawakami. King Records is also listed among the production entities.
Nana Mizuki is confirmed to reprise her role as Nanoha Takamachi. New additions to the main voice cast include Haruka Chisuga voicing Yumi Aiba, Ayane Sakura as Hoozuki Ririka, and Asaki Yui taking on the role of Towa Yumi.

The source manga, which Tsuzuki scripts and Kawakami illustrates, began serialization in Kodansha's Suiyōbi no Sirius in April 2025. Volume 2 of the tankōbon is slated for release on February 9, 2026. The anime project was initially announced during the 20th-anniversary celebration event held on December 28, 2024.
