Rudeus Greyrat’s next chapter is officially set. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 is confirmed to begin broadcasting in July 2026. Crunchyroll will handle streaming rights later that year.
This major announcement arrived during the franchise’s fifth-anniversary event, where production staff locked in the timeline for the highly anticipated continuation. The new season will adapt content starting from Volume 13 of Rifujin na Magonote’s original light novels. This phase is expected to bring significant emotional challenges and larger-scale adventures for Rudeus as he faces major turning points in his adult life.
A new teaser visual was released alongside the date confirmation, putting Eris squarely in focus. She is depicted gripping her sword with a determined look, strongly suggesting her return to a central role following her rigorous training arc and hinting at a dramatic reunion ahead.

Studio Bind is returning to handle the animation. Ryosuke Shibuya is back directing the series after previously handling the second cour of Season 2. The core creative staff remains consistent: Sanae Shimada and Ryota Furukawa are handling character designs, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa continues composing the music, maintaining the series' established orchestral sound. The main voice cast is confirmed to reprise their roles, including Yumi Uchiyama as Rudeus and Ai Kakuma as Eris.
In related news, the franchise is expanding into mobile gaming. A new 3D battle RPG titled Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation: Chronicle of Echoes was unveiled. The game is scheduled for release sometime this year. GREE Entertainment and Asobimo are developing the tie-in title, which will feature original scenarios starring series characters.
The first season of the anime aired in 2021, followed by the two-part Season 2 across 2023 and 2024. With the Summer 2026 date now locked in, fans have a firm timeline for Rudeus’ next major chapter.
