Bandai Spirits is bringing back the METAL BUILD Strike Freedom Gundam, now as a 'Revival Ver.' with significant updates. This updated figure is set to launch in June 2026, priced at 38,500 JPY including tax. Fans can expect major engineering improvements over the initial release.
The Revival edition features enhanced build quality and detail. It retains the premium ABS and die-cast metal construction standard for METAL BUILD figures. Bandai has confirmed better articulation and revised proportions for this version. New accessories are also part of the package, designed to better capture the high-speed combat sequences from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny. Official promotional images highlight a striking metallic finish on the wings and beam rifle.

This release fits into Tamashii Nations' broader 2026 schedule for high-end Gundam figures. It follows the METAL BUILD Launcher Striker Pack Store Limited Edition, which drops on March 27. The Sword Striker release is scheduled for July. Collectors can use these separate packs to customize their Strike Gundam configurations. The announcement page went live on Tamashii Web on February 25, signaling a renewed focus on SEED DESTINY within the METAL BUILD line.
Kira Yamato's mobile suit remains one of the most sought-after figures, especially since the first version sold out quickly years ago. This reissue aims to make the definitive version more accessible to collectors. Pre-orders are expected to open soon across Premium Bandai and authorized retailers.
