Hakusensha has confirmed the conclusion of Aki Akimoto's sequel manga, Mechanical Marie+. The brief follow-up series, which continued the story of Marie Evans and Arthur Louis Zetes after their original run, wrapped up after about eight months of serialization.
The final chapter ran in the February 2025 issue of LaLa magazine. The serialization officially began on April 24, 2023, and concluded its run on December 24, 2023. Fans can expect the second and final collected tankobon volume to arrive on March 5, 2026.
Mechanical Marie+ followed the maid-master pairing as they navigated their honeymoon. The original premise involved Marie, an ex-fighter disguised as a robot maid, protecting the reclusive heir Arthur from threats, which led to their unexpected romance.
The initial story began as a one-shot in LaLa in March 2020 before running for six volumes between June 2020 and June 2023.

This sequel run followed the recent TV anime adaptation from Zero-G and Studio Liber, which aired for 12 episodes last fall starting October 5, 2025.
Stateside, Yen Press is handling the English release. Volume 1 was published in August, and Volume 2 is currently scheduled for release on February 24, 2026.
Aki Akimoto recently wrapped up I Want You to Say You Lose in March, a series that began serialization in December 2023. The conclusion of Mechanical Marie+ officially closes this specific chapter for Marie and Arthur.
