Anticipation is building rapidly for the upcoming anime adaptation of Nana Ootori's acclaimed light novel, 'Saigo ni Hitotsu dake Onegai shitemo Yoroshii deshou ka' (May I Ask for One Final Thing?). Fans can now delve deeper into its opulent yet perilous world with the exciting reveal of additional key staff members, captivating theme songs, and a brand-new, action-packed second promotional video.

This highly anticipated series, brought to life by Liden Films Kyoto Studio, is set to electrify screens on October 3, 2025. It will make its grand debut at midnight on Tokyo MX, followed by broadcasts on BS 11 and Gunma TV.

A Tale of Aristocratic Revenge

The narrative thrusts viewers into the dramatic life of Scarlet, whose world shatters during a lavish ball. Her fiancé, Kyle, publicly severs their engagement, simultaneously leveling false accusations that paint her as a villainess. Having endured years of silent abuse, Scarlet, on the brink of despair, requests one audacious final favor. This is not for peace or reconciliation, but for the raw, unbridled satisfaction of physical retribution. This audacious demand sets the stage for a compelling tale of dramatic revenge, intricately woven into an aristocratic fantasy setting where societal decorum clashes with primal justice.

New Talents Join the Production Team

Further enhancing the production's artistic vision, an array of talented individuals have joined the team. Morihito Oohara takes the helm for art design, ensuring the visual splendor of Scarlet's world. Hironori Noji will meticulously craft the color design, while Issei Araki lends his expertise to prop design, adding authentic detail. Tetsuya Kawada steps in as director of photography, promising breathtaking cinematography, and Satomi Yamada will skillfully handle the editing, ensuring a seamless and impactful viewing experience.

Enthralling Auditory Experience

The auditory landscape of the series promises to be equally enthralling. The opening theme, "Senjō no Hana" (Flower of the Battlefield), will be powerfully delivered by the dynamic duo CHiCO with Honeyworks, setting an exhilarating tone for each episode. Complementing this, the ending theme, "Inferior," will feature the hauntingly beautiful vocals of Shiyui, providing a reflective close.

Originating as a popular online serialization in April 2018, the light novel, illustrated by Satsuki and published by AlphaPolis, has captivated readers across six volumes. Its manga adaptation, skillfully brought to life by Sora Hoonoki since 2019, further expands the narrative across nine volumes. This latest comprehensive update solidifies the series' position as a must-watch, promising an irresistible blend of action, comedy, and fantasy, all anchored by a powerful female protagonist's quest for vengeance.
