Manga Mavericks Books has secured significant distribution partnerships, a move set to push its print catalog into more hands. The company announced on February 23 that it has signed with Pathway Book Service for North American fulfillment and Gazelle Book Services Ltd. to cover Europe. This means warehousing and retail outreach for their growing list of titles are now handled by established players in both regions.
Pathway Book Service is key for the North American market, connecting Manga Mavericks directly to major chains such as Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Walmart, and Amazon. Booksellers and librarians can now easily order stock through Ingram Book Distributors and the iPage platform, which Pathway facilitates. Across the Atlantic, Gazelle Book Services will manage stocking arrangements with European retailers including Waterstones, Gardners, and Amazon.
CEO Varun Gupta stated that this is a pivotal step, emphasizing that these deals will introduce their catalog to entirely new readerships. He also mentioned that the planned 2026 lineups are shaping up to feature a strong mix of indie gems, classics, shojo, and LGBTQ+ stories originating from Japanese creators, many of which will see their first English releases through this partnership.

Manga Mavericks, which launched in April 2025, focuses specifically on licensing overlooked works from Japan for global release. These distribution agreements follow recent industry trends, similar to what has been seen with Ablaze's tie-up with Simon & Schuster or Udon's shift after the Diamond situation. Fans who are eager for titles can still find digital and print options available directly through the Manga Mavericks online store at the time of reporting.
