Maaya Sakamoto has released the anime music video for "Tokei" (Clock), the official theme song accompanying the launch of Fate/Grand Order's Final Chapter content. The short version of the music video premiered on December 28. Sakamoto handled both the lyrics and the composition for the track herself, which features many of the core characters from the series in its animation.
Key staff on the visual included Shun Enokido, who storyboarded and unit directed; Enokido is also known for his work on Fate/strange Fake. Takahito Sakazume managed the animation direction duties.
This track marks Sakamoto’s sixth major song contribution to the Fate/Grand Order franchise. She has been involved since the game's initial 2015 launch, contributing as both a performer and a voice cast member over the last decade. Her prior theme songs for the game include "Shikisai," "Gyakko," "Kuhaku," "Yakudo," and "Dokuhaku."
The Final Chapter storyline officially kicked off on December 20, following an animated 30-second promotional trailer that arrived on December 18. This new release continues the tradition of high-quality theme music defining the major story arcs for the game.

Fate/Grand Order, the mobile RPG that launched in Japan in 2015, remains a massive earner for Type-Moon. The title pulled in over $7 billion globally in 2023 alone. Part 2 of the main narrative, "Cosmos in the Lostbelt," began back in 2018 and has been steadily expanding the franchise's story leading up to this Final Chapter.
