Lezel Drops Music Video for "Can't Stop," Insert Song from Let This Grieving Soul Retire Cour 2

Singer-songwriter Lezel has officially dropped the full music video for "Can't Stop," the key insert song featured throughout the second cour of the Let This Grieving Soul Retire TV anime. The video premiered on her official YouTube channel and included a new comment from Lezel regarding her continued work on the series soundtrack.

"Can't Stop" provided the emotional backing track for Let This Grieving Soul Retire Cour 2, which aired during the Fall 2025 season. The song's driving, introspective sound captures the constant struggle of the reluctant treasure hunter Krai Andrey to avoid hero duties while chaos pulls him back into action.

This release solidifies Lezel’s presence in the franchise, marking her second major contribution to the anime's soundscape. She previously handled the high-energy, battle-focused opening theme, "Kattou Tomorrow" ("Conflict Tomorrow").

The new music video intersperses footage of Lezel's performance with clips pulled directly from Cour 2. The visuals offer fans a fresh look at season highlights, balancing stylish fantasy action with moments of comedy and impending chaos, maintaining the show's established tone.

The 11-episode second cour continued adapting Tsukikage’s light novels detailing the overpowered Grieving Souls party’s misadventures. Studio Zero-G handled the animation, with Masahiro Takata directing the series. Hideki Shirane managed the series composition, while Yusuke Isouchi and Shingo Fujisaki were credited for character designs. The anime adapts the light novels published by Micro Magazine under their GC Novels imprint.
