The LEGO Group has finally confirmed the release of its first official Pokémon building sets, launching on February 27, 2026, to coincide with Pokémon Day and the franchise's 30th anniversary. This highly anticipated partnership marks a major milestone for both companies, delivering five sets total, headlined by three large-scale builds aimed at adult collectors.
The core releases include a 587-piece Eevee model, priced at $59.99, and a substantial 2,050-piece combination set featuring Pikachu and a Poké Ball.

The centerpiece of the launch is the massive 6,838-piece flagship set showcasing the fully evolved Kanto starters: Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. Given the piece count, this Kanto Trio display piece is expected to carry a significant premium price tag.
LEGO is also offering the 40892 Kanto Region Badge Collection as a gift with purchase (GWP). This exclusive promotional item is available only to buyers who secure the main Kanto Starter Trio set. The GWP offer runs from February 27 through March 8, while supplies last.
Pre-orders for the initial wave are already open. Serious collectors are advised to secure their orders now, particularly for the flagship Kanto trio, before secondary market prices spike.
