LEGO and The Pokémon Company officially revealed their first wave of collaborative sets, headlined by a massive, articulated build featuring the original Kanto starters. The flagship set, priced at $649.99, focuses on the 18+ adult builder market and is set to launch on February 27, 2026.
The centerpiece of the debut is set 72153, which includes 6,838 pieces to construct fully articulated models of Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. This serious display piece stands 20 inches tall, 21 inches wide, and 14 inches deep. Key articulation points include Venusaur's vines, Charizard's wings and tail, and Blastoise's hydro cannons. The display base also features hidden biomes and Easter eggs.

Pre-orders for the set began on January 12th on the LEGO Shop. This collaboration ties directly into the ongoing Pokémon 30th anniversary push.
The initial wave includes two smaller builds launching alongside the trio on February 27th. Set 72151 is a $59.99 Eevee model constructed from 587 poseable bricks. The $199.99 Pikachu with Poké Ball set (72152) includes 2,050 bricks, a lightning base, and a nod to the Pokédex design.
LEGO confirmed several promotions for early buyers of the large trio set. Customers who purchase the set between February 27th and March 8th will receive the free Kanto Region Badge Collection (40892). This bonus set contains 312 pieces that form all eight gym badges housed in a Poké Ball case. This offer is limited to the first 21,840 online pre-orders.
Additionally, LEGO Insiders members can redeem 2,500 points for the Mini Pokémon Center set (40911). These initial releases are strictly display models and do not include any minifigures. Reports indicate pre-orders moved quickly, urging interested fans to check LEGO.com soon.
