The anime adaptation of the popular light novel, I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand, has confirmed its broadcast start date for April 2026 following the release of a new teaser trailer. This fantasy series arrives with significant backing, boasting over 4.25 million copies in print across the franchise at the time of reporting.
The story centers on Luck Loch Franzen, the hero credited with defeating the Demon Lord a decade prior, who was presumed dead. Luck mysteriously wakes up, rejuvenated by the residual power of that final battle. Instead of accepting the hero worship and the statues erected in his honor, Luck decides to conceal his legendary status and restart his life as a low-ranked F-class adventurer.
Studio Gekkou is handling the animation production. The newly released teaser trailer focused heavily on the central irony of the premise: Luck attempting to maintain a low profile while constantly encountering former allies and new companions who fail to recognize the youthful hero.

Gakuto Kajiwara is set to voice the protagonist, Luck. The supporting cast includes Yui Ishikawa, Mayu Sagara, M.A.O, and Yurie Kosaka.
While the premise suggests comedy, the trailer hints that Luck's return will force him to confront new realities. The plot is expected to escalate beyond simple slice-of-life comedy, exploring the fallout of his ten-year absence in the fantasy world. The series is confirmed for the Spring 2026 anime season.
