The series gained significant traction, topping the site's yearly rankings in 2022. Kadokawa’s Books imprint began publishing physical volumes in March 2022 with illustrations by Laruha. Volume seven was released on March 10, 2025. Yen Press currently licenses the English version of the source material, which follows Kunon’s journey to master magic that might restore his sight.
