Kadokawa officially confirmed that the teased sequel to KonoSuba is Season 4 and is already in production. The announcement came during the franchise's 10th-anniversary livestream this week, solidifying the future of the popular isekai comedy following the conclusion of Season 3 in April 2024.
The main cast, including Jun Fukushima (Kazuma), Sora Amamiya (Aqua), Rie Takahashi (Megumin), and Ai Kayano (Darkness), were all present for the confirmation on Tuesday.
The celebration also included major franchise announcements beyond the anime continuation. A new mobile and PC game, titled KonoSuba: Kono Ai Subeki Machi ni Hanei o, is slated for 2026. Series creator Natsume Akatsuki and artist Kurone Mishima are providing original story input for the game.

Akatsuki also revealed an exclusive audio drama, 'White Snow Fairy Tale: Hyōka no Kisetsu,' which is set to stream on YouTube this winter.
Two new novels are scheduled for release on February 28, 2026. Past radio episodes are also being made available for streaming again. The 10th-anniversary celebration includes a major event planned for July 26 at Pacifico Yokohama, featuring the main cast and singer Machico. An exhibition is scheduled for this fall in Tokyo's Akihabara district, coinciding with the release of a 10th Anniversary Song Box.
Season 3 concluded its 11-episode run in April 2024 and streamed on Crunchyroll with an English dub. Studio Drive handled the animation for the latest season, taking over from Studio DEEN. Season 4 is expected to pick up directly where Season 3 left off. This news follows the closure of previous games like Fantastic Days, which ended service in January 2025.
New 10th-anniversary artwork showcasing Aqua, Darkness, Kazuma, Megumin, and supporting characters like Chris, Luna, and Yunyun has been released. Yen Press continues to handle localization for the light novels and manga in English.
