Toho is continuing the expansion of its successful Chibi Godzilla universe. This franchise, known for reimagining the legendary King of the Monsters and his adversaries into endearing, miniature forms, launched its highly anticipated third season, Chibi Godzilla Raids Again, on July 2, 2025. A significant update for the third season involves the expansion of the voice cast. Industry veteran Katsuyuki Konishi has joined the production, taking on the role of the new character, Chibi JJ. The subsequent anime adaptation, Chibi Godzilla Raids Again, made its global debut on April 1, 2023, airing initially on TV Tokyo's Iniminimanimo block.

Accessibility for the series was quickly broadened via the official Godzilla YouTube channel, where episodes are made available with English subtitles, ensuring the exploits of these miniature titans reach a wide international audience. The production lifecycle has demonstrated steady growth. The inaugural season ran from April to June 2023, a collaborative effort between Pie in the Sky and Toho. By the second season, which aired from April 2024 to March 2025, the series had solidified its position within mainstream Japanese children’s television, becoming a regular feature on TV Tokyo’s popular Oha Suta program.
