K MANGA Launches English Digital Release of 'An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29' Ahead of Anime Debut

K MANGA has officially begun the English digital serialization of Ippei Nara's manga, An Adventurer's Daily Grind at Age 29. This move gives international fans immediate access to the source material just ahead of the anime adaptation's broadcast. The platform confirmed the pickup on X this past Saturday. Chapter 1, titled 'Man Meets Girl,' launched on December 27 and is currently available for free reading.

The story centers on Hajime Shinonome, a 29-year-old adventurer working out of the Komai Village dungeons. His life changes when he rescues Rirui, an orphan being attacked by a slime monster, and takes her in. Hajime does not realize Rirui is far more than just a typical kid.

Kodansha's digital service is positioning the title alongside established hits like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Nara first launched the series back in January 2016 in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine. The print run remains active in Japan; Volume 20 shipped on September 9, and Volume 21 is scheduled for release on February 9. The manga also runs digitally on Magazine Pocket.

This serialization timing aligns perfectly with the upcoming TV adaptation. The anime, produced by Studio Hornets, is set to premiere on January 7, 2026, airing at 9:30 p.m. on AT-X.

Riki Fukushima directs the series, with Yoshihiro Nagamori handling character designs. Crunchyroll secured the global streaming rights and will offer five dubs: English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese. Streaming begins shortly after midnight on d Anime Store and ABEMA, followed by later slots on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other networks.
