Episode 5 of Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None is set to air in Japan this Wednesday, January 28, following the hero party's disastrous encounter on floor 92. Crunchyroll confirmed it will stream the episode shortly after its broadcast on Tokyo MX and other local networks. The release comes as the former hero Orun continues his solo grind, proving his value just as his old comrades face the consequences of dismissing him.
The previous episode, 'The Heroes Party Looks Back,' aired January 25 and established the current crisis. The hero party brought along their new enchanter, Philly, for their foray into floor 92. When Philly’s magic failed during a critical fight, the group was left scrambling as the Black Dragon boss appeared. Both Anneli and Derrick took significant damage during the panic, validating Luna’s earlier warning that the party was useless without Orun’s versatile skills.
Meanwhile, Orun, voiced by Takeo Ōtsuka, has been transforming the versatility once mocked by his former comrades into genuine power. He is currently defending new allies, including Sophia Claudel (voiced by Hina Tachibana) and Selma Claudel (Saori Ōnishi). Episode 5 is expected to heavily focus on Orun’s continued solo development while the heroes deal with the mess they created.

The 12-episode series is animated by Studio42, with Hiroyuki Kanbe directing the project. Naoto Nakamura handles the character designs. The opening theme, 'Sylve,' is performed by Tokoyami Towa, and Nowlu sings the ending track, 'Sukuu.' For viewers preferring the English language track, the dub premiered on Crunchyroll starting with Episode 1 on January 14. The source material is the light novel written by Nabeshiki Tenchou, with manga adaptations illustrated by Yonezou running in Kodansha's Suiyōbi no Sirius. The Japanese broadcast for Episode 5 is scheduled for 8:30 AM EST on AT-X.
