Anime Festa debuted the video on December 1, 2025, providing viewers with a look into the world of this romantic comedy. This adaptation is based on the popular erotic stepsibling romance manga created by writer Hirafumi and illustrator Yagi Shinba. The original work began digital serialization on CLLENN’s Comic C'moa service on November 27, 2022. It has also gained international distribution, being released digitally in English through Coolmic.

The narrative centers on Kota Takamura, a young man characterized by his sense of responsibility and adherence to structure. His organized life is disrupted when his father remarries. This introduces his new stepsister, Aika Takamura: a super-bratty gyaru who maintains a facade of perfection for their parents but reveals a high-energy and abrasive personality when they are alone. The constant verbal sparring and clashes between these two opposing forces form the foundation of the story, described within the series as an extremely poor brother-sister relationship, while simultaneously setting the stage for potential romantic developments.
