The ongoing TV anime adaptation of Motoei Shinzawa's High School! Kimengumi confirmed two more voice actors ahead of the next broadcast. Veteran actor Yasunori Matsumoto is set to voice the biology teacher Gorō Mutsu, while Sayumi Suzushiro will voice Pochi, the strange horseshoe crab creature.
Both characters are slated to appear starting with episode 5, which airs this Friday on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block at 11:30 p.m. The official channels released a brief preview teasing the chaos for that episode, mentioning that the "arch enemy, Harumaki Don, approaches!" and someone suggests they "play somewhere in space."
Matsumoto is recognizable from roles like in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou, bringing his experience to this eccentric teacher role. Suzushiro, who recently appeared in Tougen Anki, takes on the mysterious Pochi. This series launched back on January 9, updating the classic 1980s gag comedy for the Reiwa era with a new lineup of students.
The core cast remains: Rei Ichido (Tomokazu Seki), Go Reietsu (Shunsuke Takeuchi), Kiyoshi Shusse (Yoshitsugu Matsuoka), Jin Daima (Chiaki Kobayashi), and Dai Monohoshi (Kikunosuke Toya). They are still getting into scrapes alongside Yui Kawa (Haruka Shiraishi) and Chie Uru (Ikumi Hasegawa).

Kenichi Ogata is reprising his role as Principal Sakio Kocho from the original 1985-1987 run, which totaled 86 episodes and included a feature film. Kazuaki Seki is directing the series over at Animation Studio Seven. Shigeru Murakoshi is handling scripts, and Yuka Abe designed the characters. Slow Curve is handling production duties, with music provided by Night Tempo.
