Haikyu!! Final Arc Details: 'Little Giant' Movie and 'Monsters Go' Special Set for 2027 Debut

The long-awaited conclusion to the Haikyu!! anime adaptation has been officially scheduled. During Jump Festa 2026, the production committee confirmed that the grand finale, the second part of the Haikyu!! FINAL project, will arrive in 2027.
Fans are getting a double feature to wrap up Karasuno’s journey through the Nationals tournament. The centerpiece is the theatrical film, officially titled Haikyu!! vs. The Little Giant. This movie picks up immediately where the previous film, The Dumpster Battle, left off, continuing Karasuno’s run through the high-stakes tournament.
Running concurrently with the film will be a special episode, Haikyu!!: The Place Where Monsters Go. Officially named Haikyu!! Bakemonotachi no Iku Tokoro, this TV special promises crucial extra content covering the Nationals matchups as the series heads toward its endpoint.

Animation studio Production I.G is handling the production for both features. A second teaser released near Christmas 2025 confirmed the 2027 window and offered glimpses of the key players competing in Nationals.
The 2027 date aligns with the production pacing seen previously; The Dumpster Battle arrived roughly 18 months after its initial 2022 reveal. While the wait for Hinata’s full journey closure extends another year, the commitment to this double feature suggests a substantial send-off is coming.
There is ongoing fan discussion regarding the official naming convention. The official Haikyu!! Twitter account notably dropped the word "Final" from the movie's title, fueling speculation that the manga’s post-timeskip Final Arc might still be adapted later. However, The Little Giant is currently positioned as the main conclusion, with no other projects officially slated past 2027 at the time of reporting.
