This highly anticipated cinematic send-off follows the successful theatrical run of the two prologue films, Golden Kamuy: Sapporo Beer Kōjō-hen, which premiered in Japanese theaters in October 2025. These films effectively bridged the narrative gap, leading directly into the anime’s ultimate storyline.

The concluding season will return to the rigorous adaptation of Satoru Noda’s acclaimed manga, focusing on the relentless treasure hunt set in the post-Russo-Japanese War era. The central figures are Saichi “Immortal” Sugimoto and the resourceful Ainu girl, Asirpa, whose quest to locate the hidden Ainu gold continues across the treacherous wilderness of early 20th-century Hokkaido.
