Kadokawa has officially confirmed that the manga FX Fighter Kurumi-chan is heading to television with a full anime series set for broadcast sometime in 2026. The announcement came today alongside the release of a teaser trailer and a new visual posted to the official website.
The core story centers on college student Kurumi Fukuga, who jumps into the volatile world of FX trading. Her goal is to recoup the 20 million yen her late mother lost. This seemingly straightforward plan quickly spirals into high-stakes financial battles involving massive unrealized losses and intense trading sessions against other FX market participants. Despite the volatile charts, Kurumi persists in this deceptively cute but highly risky money game.
Studio Passione is handling the animation production. Yuki Ogawa, who previously helmed series like Mieruko-chan, is directing the project. Kenta Ihara, known for his work on titles such as Blue Miburo, is managing the series composition and scripts.
Kazuyuki Ueda, who handled character design for BanG Dream! projects, is adapting the designs for the screen. Takurō Iga will be composing the music.
Aina Suzuki has been cast as the lead voice for Kurumi Fukuga. Suzuki has prior voice experience in shows including Jashin-chan Dropkick.

The original web comic by Demunyan began serialization in October 2016. The manga version illustrated by Daisuki Tansan started running in Monthly Comic Flapper in February 2021. The series currently has eight collected volumes available, with Volume 9 scheduled for release on January 22.
The TV anime is set to air in 2026. Fans can view the teaser PV now and follow @fxkurumi_info for ongoing updates.
