The high-stakes financial manga FX Fighter Kurumi-chan has officially confirmed a TV anime adaptation, set to premiere in 2026. Studio Passione will handle the animation production for the series, which follows a college student navigating the volatile world of foreign exchange trading.
The original manga comes from Demunyan and Daisuki Tansan, and has been running in Monthly Comic Flapper since 2021. The news broke today alongside the debut of a teaser PV and two key visuals.
These visuals highlight the core tension of the story, contrasting protagonist Kurumi Fukuga's success in FX trading with her despair after a major financial loss. Aina Suzuki has been cast as the lead character, Kurumi, the college student determined to trade FX to recover the ¥20 million her late mother lost. Suzuki commented that she will "do my absolute best to deliver this FX world, which is far too real."
Overseeing the production is director Yuki Ogawa. Kenta Ihara is managing series composition and scripts, while Kazuyuki Ueda is handling character designs. Takuro Iga is composing the score for the adaptation.

Original artist Daisuki Tansan also issued a statement thanking fans and expressing the team's commitment to bringing new animation quality to the story. Readers can currently find eight compiled volumes of the manga, with Volume 9 scheduled for release on January 22. The series originally began as a web comic by Demunyan back in 2016 before KADOKAWA officially picked it up for serialization.
