Felix Film Unveils Star-Studded Cast, Key Staff for 'I Want to End This Love Game' Anime, Premiering April 2026

Anticipation is high for the anime adaptation of Yuki Domoto's manga, Aishiteru Game wo Owarasetai, known in English as I Want to End This Love Game. The main cast, staff, and an April 2026 premiere date have been officially announced. This romantic comedy, produced by Felix Film, is set to be a highlight of the spring 2026 anime season.

The central characters are Yukiya Asagi, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, and Miku Sakura, portrayed by Miku Itō. These two childhood friends are at the heart of a romantic game that defines their relationship. Yukiya, who underwent a significant glow-up in high school, plans to win Miku's affection using strategies from her favorite shojo manga. This premise promises a blend of comedy, romance, and drama.

Guiding the series is director Azuma Tani, recognized for his work on titles such as Thermae Romae and Insufficient Direction. Keiichirō Ōchi, known for series like Girlfriend, Girlfriend, is handling the series composition and scripts. His involvement aims to ensure a faithful adaptation of the original web manga, which has been serialized on Shogakukan's Sunday Webry platform since 2021.

Character designs will be crafted by Yūki Fukuchi, whose previous work includes Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement. The soundtrack will be composed by Akito Matsuda, known for his scores in Sound! Euphonium and Non Non Biyori, aiming to enhance the show's comedic and romantic elements.

With the manga already licensed for English distribution by Viz Media, the anime adaptation is expected to attract a global audience. A new illustration by original author Yuki Domoto was also revealed, further increasing fan anticipation.
