Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3 Finale Set for April 2026 Premiere

Toho Animation officially confirmed the conclusion of Senku Ishigami’s journey, announcing that Dr. Stone: Science Future Part 3 will premiere in April 2026. The news arrived during Jump Festa 2026, marking the final release window for the anime adaptation of Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi’s popular manga series.

Fans attending the event received the first substantial update on the final cour, which closes out the six-year run of the anime. This Season 4 wrap-up is structured across three distinct parts; Parts 1 and 2 aired earlier this year, covering the New Stone World arc. Part 3 is set to adapt the remaining two manga arcs, condensing approximately 34 chapters into what is estimated to be around 12 episodes.

A new trailer accompanied the announcement, focusing on the escalating tension of the endgame mission. The footage featured enhanced visuals from previous teasers and concluded with the introduction of Sai, Ryusui’s older brother. Sai’s appearance signals the Kingdom of Science’s immediate shift toward space exploration as they prepare to unravel the mystery surrounding Why-Man.

The original Dr. Stone manga, written by Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi, concluded in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2022 after 232 chapters. The anime adaptation began in 2019, followed by Stone Wars and New World. Following their victories over Dr. Xeno and Stanley Snyder, Senku and his team are now entirely focused on the final objective: reviving civilization from petrification using applied science. This April 2026 premiere will officially close out the anime's production run.
