The second wave of the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DAIMA DLC expansion has officially launched, bringing new content adapted from the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima anime. This update focuses on expanding the Demon Realm adventure, immediately introducing Vegeta (Mini) as a new playable fighter.
Mini Vegeta comes equipped with unique abilities designed for high-speed combat, including Armor Strike and Arc Shot, allowing players to corner opponents quickly. Players will also immediately face new challenges, notably the guardian boss Tamagami Number Two, who utilizes powerful tornado and spear techniques while protecting the Two-Star Dragon Ball.

Part 2 continues the storyline where Goku and the main cast were shrunk down by the Demon Realm's ruler, forcing them to hunt for the realm's Dragon Balls alongside Shin, Glorio, and Panzy. Exploration deepens across the First Demon World with the introduction of fresh enemy types.
Look out for the Gendarmerie Tank, a heavy-duty enemy that relies on strong ranged attacks, and the Gendarmerie Officers, who possess the ability to call in mid-fight reinforcements. This release keeps the momentum going for the title, which recently crossed the 10 million copies sold mark, marking a significant win for Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2.
Part 2 is now live across PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch. Switch users should note that access to this content is currently scheduled to end on February 28, 2026.
