Crunchyroll has dropped the creditless opening and ending sequences for the ongoing DARK MOON: THE BLOOD ALTAR anime, giving viewers a clean look at the animation tied directly to ENHYPEN’s music. The series, animated by studio Troyca, premiered on January 9 with the episode 'New Moon - Meeting-' and has been streaming globally on Crunchyroll since its debut.
The opening sequence showcases ENHYPEN’s 'One In A Billion (Japanese Ver.),' setting the tone for the dark fantasy at Decelis Academy. The plot centers on Sooha, a transfer student trying to hide superhuman abilities after being falsely accused of vampirism. She encounters the seven vampires, who are based on the members of ENHYPEN, triggering the uncovering of deep secrets within Riverfield city.
For the ending themes, the show cycles between 'CRIMINAL LOVE' and 'Fatal Trouble,' both performed by ENHYPEN. These tracks draw directly from the music videos and soundtrack created for the Dark Moon universe, which previously garnered over 190 million webtoon views by blending K-pop aesthetics with strong supernatural elements.

This anime is a key part of HYBE’s Project Dark Moon multimedia strategy. That strategy also includes novels and spin-offs like Dark Moon: The Grey City, which features the group &Team.
While the series first aired on Tokyo MX on January 10, Crunchyroll handled the worldwide simulcast immediately. Netflix and Hulu later picked up the series on January 13. Medialink is managing distribution across Southeast Asia, utilizing both Netflix and Prime Video platforms. New episodes continue to roll out weekly.
