Production I.G. has officially confirmed the second season of Blue Box will premiere in Fall 2026. This announcement comes as the anime's production team continues its promotional rollout, recently releasing the fourth piece of key visual art for the upcoming season.

The latest visual maintains the established blue aesthetic seen in previous promotional materials. Earlier visuals featured protagonists Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano in dynamic poses. Fans anticipate that Season 2 will cover the characters' second year, potentially adapting around 80 chapters to maintain the pacing established during the first cour.
