BEASTARS Final Season Part 2 Gets March 2026 Netflix Premiere, New Trailer Drops

TOHO animation finally confirmed the premiere date for BEASTARS Final Season Part 2, announcing the series will debut exclusively on Netflix in March 2026. The newly released main trailer focuses heavily on Legoshi’s internal conflict, pitting his desire for coexistence between carnivores and herbivores against his natural instincts.
The footage highlights the escalating threat posed by the dangerous carnivore Melon, who serves as the primary antagonist for this final arc. This conflict directly impacts Legoshi's push for a peaceful future, especially concerning his relationship with Haru.
The trailer also previewed the ending theme for Part 2, titled Tiny Light, performed by SEVENTEEN. This follows the music lineup for Part 1, which featured Satoru Kōsaki and issei’s opening track Into the World and YU-KA’s ending song Feel Like This.
Studio Orange is returning to handle animation production. Shinichi Matsumi directs the final season, with Nanami Higuchi handling series scripts and Nao Otsu returning for character designs.
Several key additions to the voice cast were confirmed for this final run. Shinichirō Miki joins as Yahya, Shigeru Chiba voices Gosha, Kōji Okino is cast as Melon, Tesshō Genda plays Sagwan, and Fumiko Orikasa voices Seven. They join the established returning regulars.

The anime adapts Paru Itagaki’s original manga, which ran in Weekly Shonen Champion from 2016 until 2020 and compiled 22 volumes. The story follows the gray wolf Legoshi navigating tensions and life at Cherryton Academy after a murder, all while grappling with his complex feelings for the dwarf rabbit Haru. Viz Media publishes the English release of the manga, including the side story Beast Complex.
