Bandai Unveils Premium ROBOT Spirits Figures for Gundam Hathaway: Penelope and Xi Gundam Go Up for Pre-order

Bandai Spirits has opened pre-orders for two highly detailed ROBOT Spirits figures based on the popular film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway. These high-end collectibles, featuring the rival mobile suits RX-104FF Penelope and RX-105 Xi Gundam, are exclusive drops through Premium Bandai and are set for release in mid-2026.

Leading the charge is the RX-104FF Penelope (Ver.) [Re:Coordinate], which falls under the prestigious Ka signature line. This designation confirms that mechanical designer Hajime Katoki supervised the design, ensuring intricate mechanical details are captured accurately with new molding and coloring specific to the film. The Penelope is priced at 30,800 JPY, which translates to approximately $212 USD.

Collectors can assemble the full Penelope unit by combining the base Odysseus Gundam with the included Fixed Flight unit. This configuration also allows for the signature transformation into its massive Flight Form. The Penelope is scheduled to ship in July 2026.

Joining the lineup is the RX-105 Xi Gundam, pulled directly from the movie’s intense action sequences. Pre-orders for both figures officially began on February 2. The Xi Gundam is set to ship in August 2026, one month after the Penelope.

The August release of the Xi Gundam also includes a crucial Funnel Missile Option Parts Set, perfect for staging those fast-paced battles seen in the film. The set specifically allows fans to recreate key moments, such as the reveal of the mobile suit’s damaged head after its engagement with Lane Aim. It comes equipped with extra beam rifle parts, connectors, and new manipulators for varied posing options.

Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway continues the story following Char’s Counterattack, focusing on Hathaway Noa as he leads the Mafty insurgency against the Earth Federation. These new figures arrive as Bandai Spirits maintains momentum following the earlier 2026 releases of HGUC Alyzeus and Xi Gundam Gunpla kits, offering detailed collectibles for dedicated enthusiasts.
