Bandai Spirits announced several new High Grade (HG) Gunpla kits during the final episode of the Gunpla 45th Anniversary Special Stream on February 2. The biggest reveal confirmed for Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway fans is the HG 1/144 Messer Type-M01 (Gauman Custom).
This kit features entirely new tooling specifically designed to capture the unique head and body modifications seen in the film, differentiating it from the standard Messer Type-F01. It is priced at 3,740 yen (approximately $25 USD) and is set to ship in May 2026. Pre-orders open February 12.

Bandai also confirmed the HG 1/144 Gundam Leopard will arrive in August 2026, costing 2,420 yen ($16 USD). This model promises functional gimmicks right out of the box, including opening missile hatches and a deployable Inner Arm Gatling that does not require part swapping.
Finally, the HG 1/144 Gouf Ignited (Heine Westenfluss Custom) is scheduled for a July 2026 release. This Gundam SEED Destiny entry is priced at 2,860 yen ($19 USD) and features a completely new mold incorporating the SEED Action System. The kit will include the ace pilot’s signature orange color scheme along with the Tempest Beam Sword and Heat Rod.
